Users with disabilities and SLD

The library is wheelchair-accessible.

Inside the library, two elevators furnished with push-buttons at the recommended height, signs in Braille and sound alerts, allow to reach the three floors of the building.

On each floor of the library there are toilets for disabled users.

When necessary, Library staff are very happy to help by fetching volumes from the shelves and supporting users for whatever they need.

TEXTS IN ACCESSIBLE FORMAT
For students with disabilities or diagnoses of specific learning disabilities (SLD), the University Library System, in collaboration with the Office for Students with Disabilities and DSA of the University of Turin, provides the SensusLibrary service for the supply of texts and documents in accessible format. The SensusAccess application is also available for users who autonomously want to convert documents into formats suitable for specific needs.

All details on both services are available on the devoted page.
