European Section "Gianni Merlini"

Formally established on October, 2nd 2013 by the agreement between the University of Turin, the Compagnia di San Paolo, Istituto Universitario di Studi Europei (IUSE) and the Foundation Centro Studi sul Federalismo (CSF), the European Library "Gianni Merlini” in October 2016 changed its name into European Section Gianni Merlini and became part of the Norberto Bobbio Library.

Grown out of the integration of the book and periodical materials owned by the Istituto Universitario di Studi Europei and the Foundation Centro Studi sul Federalismo, this section has European studies and the studies on Federalism as its main focus. 

To the book holding of the European section Gianni Merlini belong monographies in the field of law, economics and politics which were part of the colldections of the IUSE and the CSF, as well as the official publication of the European Documentation Centre (EDC).

The collections of the Centro Studi sul Federalismo include: the CESI collection and those named after Merlini, Serafini, Tommaso Padoa-Schioppa and Pistone.
